Communications and engagement
We have proven experience across campaigns, digital marketing and stakeholder engagement and have worked with a range of clients including NHS England (national and regional), integrated care systems and NHS trusts.
Bowel screening awareness campaign
We supported the “Your next poo could save your life” campaign to increase bowel cancer screening uptake in London, leading to 69% of people surveyed using and returning their bowel cancer screening kit.
Armed Forces family engagement
We delivered a patient and public engagement programme to help NHS England understand armed forces families’ health needs and how best to support them. As a result of our work, NHS England allocated funding to support networks for armed forces families across England.
Review of Sexual Assault Referral Centre provision
We undertook an options appraisal of future site operating models for London’s sexual assault referral centre (SARC) and delivered a feasibility study to test our recommendations with partners and service users. These recommendations were validated, supported, approved, and are now being implemented.
Greener NHS Comms and Engagement planning
We supported communications and engagement for the Greener NHS programme before and during COP26. This work contributed to over 220 organisations participating in the COP26 Healthier Planet, Healthier People campaign, and a 345% increase in visits to the Greener NHS website.

National Performance and Population Health Dashboard development
We led a consortium that developed and delivered the National Performance and Population Health Dashboard (‘ViewPoint’), which recorded over 30k registered users and over 1.5k weekly visits just three months after its launch.
PCN demand management, capacity and forecasting
In 2021, we developed tailored infrastructure toolkits for each of the 47 Primary Care Networks (PCNs) in North East London (NEL) to inform strategic planning decisions for future investments, ahead of the expected 13% population growth in NEL by 2031.
Reducing Carbon Emissions
We were commissioned by the NHS England Greener NHS programme to lead the analytical planning and modelling of interventions to reduce carbon emissions across the NHS. Our work contributed significantly to the successful publication of Delivering a Net Zero National Health Service.
Learning and development
We offer a number of learning and development courses including consultancy training, project and programme management training, simulation design and development, development of bespoke training, and our highly rated After Action Review (AAR) training and community of practice.
Antiracism Framework and Fellowship for Ethnic Minority Midwives
TPHC formed an advisory group of ethnic minority maternity leaders and worked with them to co-design and deliver two products to drive equity in London maternity services: a Fellowship, and an Anti-Racism Framework. The Fellowship helped 33% of Fellows moved into a more senior role within three months of completion.

The governance framework we developed is now in place, with elements of it being adopted by other local Place-based Partnerships.
Net Zero Travel and Transport
We worked with NHS England to establish the first-ever Net Zero Travel and Transport team, recruiting and onboarding the new team and connecting stakeholders from disparate sectors with shared aspirations.

NEL Fuller system response
Following publication of NHS England’s Fuller recommendations, NEL ICP aimed to create a new vision and strategy for integrating primary care. We developed a data and metrics framework and are supporting them to create a new vision for integrating primary care, implement the three essential offers and develop core workstreams.

We provided strategy and programme support to City and Hackney CCG in North East London (NEL) over three years to strengthen collaborative working and accelerate out-of-hospital partnership programmes around local strategic priorities.
Net Zero Travel and Transport
This is a small preview of this case study, maybe one long sentence We worked with NHS England to establish the first-ever Net Zero Travel and Transport team. We wrote the team’s first programme plan and designed and led the programme which led to the real-world testing and unveiling of the world’s first zero-emission ambulance at COP26.

Exploring using movement in talking therapies for better mental health care
Sport England commissioned TPHC to conduct research exploring how physical activity could be better used within NHS Talking Therapies to improve mental health outcomes. This research report has been taken forward by Sport England, with plans developing to implement the key recommendations.
Long-Term Conditions Outcomes Framework review
We developed a business case, a financial model and an activity model in support of a Long Term Conditions (LTCs) Outcomes Framework for implementation across primary care in north east London. This was designed to reduce health inequalities among patients with long-term conditions by addressing historic imbalances in investment.
