Greener NHS communications and engagement planning
Organisation: NHS England – Greener NHS

We supported communications and engagement for the Greener NHS programme before and during COP26. This included working with stakeholders to deliver two exhibitions and manage communications for the unveiling of the world’s first long-range zero-emission ambulance. We developed and delivered brand identity guidelines, brand assets, a social media strategy, communications plans for six complex workstreams and supported several other high-profile announcements.
The impact of our work
This work contributed to over 220 organisations participating in the COP26 Healthier Planet, Healthier People campaign, a 345% increase in visits to the Greener NHS website and 115% increase in Twitter followers.

More case studies
Bowel screening awareness campaign
We supported the “Your next poo could save your life” campaign to increase bowel cancer screening uptake in London, leading to 69% of people surveyed using and returning their bowel cancer screening kit.

Net Zero Travel and Transport
We worked with NHS England to establish the first-ever Net Zero Travel and Transport team, recruiting and onboarding the new team and connecting stakeholders from disparate sectors with shared aspirations.

Armed Forces family engagement
We delivered a patient and public engagement programme to help NHS England understand armed forces families’ health needs and how best to support them. As a result of our work, NHS England allocated funding to support networks for armed forces families across England.
