How we work

Our delivery teams consist of business and data analysts, developers and business intelligence experts as dictated by the needs of projects we support. Our team have advanced technical skills including SQL, Tableau, PowerBI, Excel, R and Python and, as part of the NHS, we have extensive understanding of NHS datasets, systems and platforms.

We have increasingly adopted an Agile approach, which is adapted to each client’s specific needs. Where an Agile methodology is adopted, we plan and deliver in cycles to ensure work that is of greater importance or urgency can be prioritised and delivered in a timely manner.

Greener NHS analytical leadership and modelling

We supported publication of ‘Delivering a Net Zero NHS’ through analytical leadership and modelling of interventions to reduce the NHS carbon footprint. We also enabled NHS England to monitor progress and performance against net zero trajectories by developing a data and metrics framework.

Operational planning dashboard for Bedfordshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust

We helped the trust identify operational areas that required improvement by developing a PowerBI planning dashboard to monitor activity variances between Secondary Uses Services (SUS), Service Level Aggregate Reporting (SLAM) and the trust data warehouse.

Hospital service demand and capacity review

We helped a hospital division optimise services as part of a financial recovery programme by identifying future demand and capacity shortfalls and excesses across four specialties and opportunities in resource allocation, job planning, and financial management.

Developing and implementing a healthcare data strategy for London’s prisons

We developed a data strategy to provide an overarching view of London prison healthcare intelligence, informing the recommissioning of services and a strategy to provide more equitable care across London’s prisons.
