Healthy London Partnership (HLP) has supported child death review professionals across London’s  to come together and discuss the challenges and considerations of the new statutory requirements.

Summary document

Between January and March 2019, a regional workshop took place in each of London’s five sustainability and transformation partnership (STP) areas to facilitate this important work. We are pleased to publish a summary of those discussions which can be used to inform local system transformation plans.

Importantly however, please note that HLP, NHS England and the Department for Health and Social Care have not formally endorsed the positions and statements outlined in the summary. These should be considered alongside the Child Death Review: Statutory and Mandatory Guidance.
