Building Resilience Programme in Tower Hamlets Secondary Schools
Tower Hamlets Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) were commissioned to offer a training programme for staff in secondary schools across a range of relevant topics regarding mental health issues. 14 schools have participated with a total of 102 staff attending.
Sessions included:
- Working with CAMHS
- Eating Disorders
- ADHD
- Suicidality and Self Harm
- Conduct Disorder
- Autistic Spectrum Disorder
- Depression
- Anxiety
The training was developed after consultation with the schools themselves and hearing the issues that they felt they needed help with.
Feedback has been very positive on how schools have used the training.
