E-triage

The Digital IAPT Team have been developing a new digital process to enable quicker, safe and secure access to IAPT services. . Over the last 18 months, we have worked on a IAPT E-triage Process with IAPT clinicians and experts by experience to review existing digital pathways into London IAPT services. Through this work we have co-designed a new digital triage process which will provide a consistent and easy access into IAPT services. . We are currently, testing the process at Barking and Dagenham, and Greenwich IAPT services. The test involves the full use of the new e-triage forms for at least 3 months. During the period, we will ask the users of the forms to share their experiences with us. We want to know if the process was easy to complete for service users; we also want to measure the impact of the new process on IAPT workforce.

The e-triage process will go live at two IAPT sites in December 2020. An evaluation report will be available in March 2021.

Please see here an introduction video from Ross O’Brien, Digital IAPT Programme Lead. Below are the two new digital triage forms that have been co-designed with service users and IAPT workforce (clinicians and administrators). The forms are being tested at two London IAPT services (Greenwich, Barking and Dagenham IAPT services.
