Our approach begins with working together to define the population in scope and needs to be addressed, using a data-driven approach to diagnose and agree the problem(s) to be solved. Using this shared understanding, we bring key stakeholders together to map existing end-to-end pathways, agreeing the current and future states.
We specialise in supporting our customers to co-design and embed change management approaches to suit their unique needs. Drawing on a variety of change management and quality improvement methodologies, our approach ensures key stakeholders, people with lived experience and benefits owners are bought into the change.

Clinical pathway redesign
We take a data-driven approach, bringing key stakeholders together to create a shared understanding of a clinical case for change.
We use industry project and programme management and improvement methodologies such as PRINCE2, MSP, and Agile frameworks, adapting our approach accordingly to client needs and levels of complexity.
Complex, multi-agency pathway redesign
Working with partners, we consider how service (and system) users move through services delivered or commissioned by multiple organisations, aiming to improve co-ordination, efficiency, user experience and outcomes. We provide end-to-end support including mapping existing pathways, engaging stakeholders to unite behind a shared vision and end goal, co-designing new pathways, implementing and evaluating against agreed success criteria.
The establishment of new services or pilots
We support partners at multiple levels of the health and care system across the lifecycle of a new pilot project/programme. Our expertise spans from the development phase and securing investment, to the design of the new pathway and associated model of care, supporting the implementation of new clinical services, and evaluation.
Our consultants are expert in bringing key stakeholders along the journey, using collaborative tools such as discovery workshops, co-creation of logic models and benefits mapping to ensure progress, outcomes and impact are measured, reported and understood by all involved.
Population health management
We can also help you understand local health needs, develop interventions for priority population cohorts, and tailor approaches to tackle wider social determinants and health inequalities to transform population health outcomes.

Review of Sexual Assault Referral Centre provision
We delivered recommendations for future site operating models for London’s sexual assault referral centres (SARCs) which were implemented, following our options appraisal and feasibility study.

Exploring using movement in talking therapies for better mental health care
We delivered a research report for Sport England exploring how physical activity could be better used within NHS Talking Therapies treatment pathways to improve mental health outcomes. This resulted in Sport England developing plans to implement the key recommendations.
