Advancing equalities in children and young people’s mental health

Our aim is to make a measurable impact and advance equalities of access, experience and outcomes for children and young people. Currently we have a particular focus on three groups: children and young people racialised as minorities; those with needs relating to neurodiversity; and those with experience of the care system.

This work is intended to augment local approaches to advancing equalities, and is not intended as a comprehensive approach to tackle all the inequalities faced by CYPMH in London.
