Transformation Partners in Health and Care is thrilled to announce that our work has been shortlisted in two categories at the prestigious 2025 HSJ awards.
Our communications and engagement team has been shortlisted for the “NHS Communications Initiative of the Year” award, while colleagues working in partnership with North Central London Integrated Care Board (NCL ICB) and Whittington Health, have been shortlisted for the “Reducing Inequalities and Improving Outcomes for Children and Young People” award.
This year’s awards attracted more than 1,250 entries from across the health sector, demonstrating the impressive scale of talent, commitment, and impact across the NHS and wider healthcare landscape. Of these, just 246 – less than 20% – made it through to the shortlist.
Communicating and engaging on changes to children’s cancer services

We provided expert communications and engagement support to a high-profile reconfiguration of very specialist cancer treatment services for children who live in south London and much of south east England, on behalf of NHS England (London and South East).
From options appraisal through pre-consultation engagement, public consultation and decision-making by NHS leaders, our team worked to develop, plan, advise on and deliver the communications and engagement strategy, in partnership with the NHS England team.
Our comprehensive, inclusive and meaningful approach resulted in significant levels of public participation and positive feedback from stakeholders including the Mayor of London and overview and scrutiny committees.
Reducing dental inequalities and improving oral health outcomes for children and young people in north central London

Our team supported North Central London Integrated Care Board (NCL ICB) to help children and young people to better understand how to brush and look after their teeth through targeted interventions such as supervised toothbrushing and expanding dental general anaesthetic clinics and weekend services.
These initiatives were targeted at settings in areas of high deprivation to help address health inequalities, increase access to dental care and ultimately to improve the health of children and young people.
Commenting on TPHC’s role in shaping and delivering this impactful programme, Mark Eaton, Director of Strategic & Delegated Commissioning, North Central London Integrated Care Board, said:
“The team from TPHC have been essential in both structuring and delivering our Dental Transformation Programme and, through their expertise and management, we have been able to increase capacity and improve outcomes for our population. Without their input we would not have achieved as much as we have in the timescales.”
Sue Hunter, Managing Director, Transformation Partners in Health and Care, said:
“We are thrilled to be shortlisted in two categories by the HSJ Awards judging panel.
“This recognition highlights the exceptional work and innovation demonstrated by the team and is a testament to our dedication to driving healthcare excellence.”
Winners will be announced at the awards ceremony on 20 November 2025 at Evolution London. The event celebrates excellence in healthcare, promotes best practice, and recognises the people and projects improving outcomes for patients nationwide.
