Engagement with Children and Young People

Centring the voice, knowledge and ideas of young people and working with them on solutions is crucial to transforming mental health services. TPHC worked with Partnership for Young London to recruit a Mental Health Youth Board to support the waiting times programme. Young people were recruited to provide input into the development of the programme as well as share their ideas, questions and lived experience. The young people provided valuable ideas, insights and recommendations. Click below for the full report highlighting the Youth Boards work.

Our engagement work also includes the Listening Project, which sought to hear the views of young people from Black, Asian and Latin American communities in London about their mental health, what affects it, and their experience of mental health support in London. A report presenting recommendations based on what we learnt from this project can be accessed here.
