I was sent a bowel cancer screening kit when I turned 60.

I thought I had cancer, because I had seen the kit in somebody’s home before and when I first saw it I thought the person had cancer so I was very hesitant to take the test until I got a reminder.

I decided to take the test because I knew if there was anything, at least it could be arrested before it was too late. So I decided to take it.

Later on I realised that it was all-clear and after reading about it I realised that 98 percent of people get the all-clear when they take the test.
