I did my bowel screening test in November 2021. The home test kit was simple and you post it back to them.

It comes with simple and precise instructions and I did it within a couple of days of receiving it.

I got a letter within a few days with my results and they said another home test kit will be sent in 2 years.

This was a follow-up to an internal bowel screen undertaken 5 years earlier at St Marks Hospital, Middlesex, after I was asked to take part in the Bowel Cancer Screening Programme by my GP Practice.

The hospital check was quite an experience with about 4 staff in the room and I could see the monitor whilst they carried out the examination. 

The home test kit is safe, simple & easy to use and you get that peace of mind that you are being monitored and any signs of bowel cancer will be detected early.
